Me

I grew up in Central Oregon as an only child and as one of the ten people of color in my town. An exaggeration, but there were days were I swore it was only me. Growing up in Central Oregon I did the required outdoor activities of skiing, biking, and being nice (throwing in a joke from a bumper sticker – “Be nice, you’re in Oregon”). I suppose the next bit of info to share would be that the High School I attended was where I met and started dating Tristan (high school sweet hearts, gross, I know). I rented my first tiny home and moved in with the wolds best orange cat, Ron, at eighteen. Then, just when life was settling in Oregon I moved away to North Carolina in 2016. I lived there for three years as “Frankie the Military Girlfriend”. Tristan and I made our first home together there with our two dogs and our new cat. As soon as Tristan finished up his time in the Marine Crops we made the move back to Oregon to start yet another adventure – home buying. In March of 2020 we closed and moved into our new home. In March 2020 the pandemic hit full force so we locked our new doors and closed the blinds and nested. Soon a baby was on the way and I added a new label to my collection – “mamma” or “mother”. She is such a vibrant little human. Shortly after our little girl was born my brain decided to run non-stop with the need to make a blog. Did I make this blog during a manic episode? Possibly.. Was it a good idea? Yes. And so the label of “blogger” has been added to my collection. This blog will be a bit about my life, labels, things I think I’m an expert at, and a place for me to over share my un edited thoughts. So, yeah. That me.
